Embracing Change: Risbridger’s Transition to a 4-Day Work Week

At Risbridger, we believe in the power of innovation not only in our products but also in the way we operate as a company. In our commitment to modernisation, work-life balance, and mental health, we’re excited to announce a significant change in our office hours.

**Since September Risbridger’s factory is normally closed on Fridays.**

This shift comes as part of our ongoing efforts to create a work environment that prioritises the well-being and productivity of our team members. While our offices may be closed on Fridays, please rest assured that most workshop activities will continue as usual.

The Why Behind the Change

  1. Work-Life Balance
We recognise the importance of achieving a healthy work-life balance. A four-day work week allows our team members to enjoy more extended weekends, providing valuable time to relax, recharge, and spend quality moments with loved ones. We believe that a balanced life leads to happier, more motivated employees.
  2. Mental Health Matters
Mental health is a priority for us. The transition to a four-day work week aligns with our commitment to creating a work environment that supports the mental well-being of our team. Reducing the number of workdays can reduce stress, enhance focus, and contribute to better mental health outcomes.
  3. Enhanced Productivity and Work-Life Balance
In an era where work-life balance is highly valued, embracing a shorter workweek doesn’t mean sacrificing productivity. At Risbridger, we’ve witnessed that our team can accomplish even more when they have the opportunity to recharge and stay motivated. This shift isn’t just about reducing hours; it’s about working more efficiently and effectively. Moreover, our commitment to a four-day workweek, with our team working from home on Fridays, not only promotes productivity but also aligns with our sustainability goals. By eliminating the need for commuting on Fridays, our team saves valuable time, reduces fuel consumption, and minimises wear and tear on their vehicles. This approach not only benefits our dedicated employees but also reflects our commitment to a greener, more eco-conscious future.
  4. Economic Efficiency Aligned with Sustainability
Our transition to a shorter workday on Fridays, a practice we’ve adopted for several years now, has revealed a multitude of benefits that extend beyond a well-rested team. It aligns seamlessly with our commitment to sustainability and eco-conscious operations.By refraining from heating our factory and offices on Fridays, we not only contribute to a greener environment but also optimise our resource management. This leaner approach not only conserves energy but also reduces our carbon footprint. We firmly believe that economic efficiency and sustainability go hand in hand, and our innovative work practices reflect this dual commitment. Our sustainable initiative is about more than just saving on utility bills; it’s a statement of our dedication to environmental stewardship and a testament to our role in fostering a more eco-friendly future.

What Does This Mean for Our Clients and Partners?

Rest assured, while our Factory may be closed on Fridays, our dedicated office and sales managers are still working hard to deliver our high-quality products and services. We are always dedicated to ensuring that our clients and partners receive the same level of excellence they have come to expect from Risbridger.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we embark on this journey of change. We firmly believe that a four-day production week aligns with our values, enhances the well-being of our team, and ultimately benefits our clients and partners.

As we modernise Risbridger, we remain committed to our core principles of innovation, precision, and excellence. This change is just one more step on our path to a brighter and more sustainable future for all.

Thank you for being part of the Risbridger family, and we look forward to continuing to serve you with dedication and passion.
