On numerous occasions, we have met aircraft engineers who know our products from their RAF Aviation Engineering careers.
Once on a bus from Wimbledon finals week to Victoria station I sat next to a Steward from the tournament. We got chatting and when he told me he was currently ‘on leave’ I enquired if he was in the Army or RAF. It turned out he was an aircraft engineer in the RAF and when I introduced myself and asked him if he knew of our re-oiling pumps he told me he used them daily.
“We all love your re-oiling pumps,” he said, “Ooh, it’s like meeting Mrs Hoover!”
I’ll take that as a complement.
