Check Valves and Shear Valves

Risbridger have been designing and producing Check Valve and Vapour Shear valves for many years.

Available in several configurations for use with three bolt or two bolt flanges, and in various materials including Stainless Steel, for use with Adblue or other corrosive fluids.

High Flow UPV’s

RIS-UPV under pump valves were designed to replace tank top check valves, and so prevent leakage from faulty suction lines and pipe-work joints. In the case of a leak in the suction lines the pump will lose prime indicating a problem. The optional stainless steel mesh strainers will protect the check valve and also the dispenser internals.

Our High Flow under pump valves are the leading valves in the market and as well as selling to OEM’s for inclusion on Dispensers, we also sell for retrofit markets to increase safety and pollution protection in fuel line installations.

• Fits ‘Oval’ 2 bolt flanges AND ‘Triangular’ 3 Bolt Flanges, see diagrams above.

Vapour Shear Valves

Prevents leakage of saturated vapour onto the forecourt if the dispenser is knocked over or impacted. Also prevents vapour from tank farm returning to forecourt. The integral isolator valve allows maintenance staff to safely replace the main valve once it is damaged.

• Full flow low pressure drop design, normally open
• Avoids partial break interference and leak condition with dual opposed piston design
• Seals upstream and downstream on impact
• Cylindrical body fits through and allows sealing with standard membrane seals

ADBLUE Shear Valves

RIS-SHEAR-ADBLUE valves prevent leakage of Adblue product onto the forecourt when the dispenser is knocked over or impacted. The INTEGRAL one-way valve helps retain line prime. OPTIONAL Under pump valves allows safe replacement of main valve once it has become damaged.

Optional valves and flanges are available for ensuring easy fitment to the dispensers.
